A generator is only as good as the fuel in its tank. The Fuel Sensor Kit measures tank level continuously and puts it on your network, so a low tank raises an alarm long before a power outage turns into an off-air event.
A Druck UNIK5000 submersible pressure sensor sits at the bottom of the tank and measures the head of fuel above it. An Advantech ADAM-6017 Ethernet analog input module converts that reading to network data. Your GPX Pro reads the module as a Modbus TCP master, so fuel level appears in SLS WebControls and Axess alongside your other site channels.
Ordering your sensor: the standard sensor is 0–20 ftH₂O gauge with 3 ft of cable. Enter the pressure range you need on the product page. Fuel is lighter than water, so a 20 ftH₂O sensor reads about 23 ft of diesel; choose a range a little above your tank’s maximum depth. Three feet of sensor cable normally reaches the ADAM-6017, and standard Cat5 runs from there at any length. For a longer sensor cable, call +1.888.418.3646 for a quote.
Lower the sensor to the bottom of the tank and wire its cable to an analog input on the ADAM-6017. Connect the module to the site network. The GPX Pro polls it over Modbus TCP and alarms on the low-fuel threshold you set. Axess-NOC can track every generator tank across your network from one screen.
